David Jones graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick in 2004. David has completed past industrial experience with the Irish Air Corps in Baldonnel, Dublin. He is currently employed by the Stokes Research Institute at the University of Limerick and is working on a project funded by Airbus in the field of enclosure natural convection heat transfer. He also develops transducer measurement and data acquisition systems for a range of projects. In addition, David is responsible for the maintenance and calibration of the Institute's laboratory equipment.
