Research carried out at Stokes on reliability analysis techniques has been successfully exploited in industrial applications ranging from automotive sub-systems and power converters, to telecomms equipment and consumer electronics. These applications have demonstrated that a structured approach to reliability analysis, implemented early in the product design cycle, can prevent expensive redesigns or excessive warranty costs.
